A few facts about why and how music is good for your plants
- Plants thrive when they listen to music that sits between 115Hz and 250Hz, as the vibrations emitted by such music emulate similar sounds in nature.
- Plants only need one to three hours of music per day. Often when people really enjoy caring for their beloved plants they can fall into the trap of overwatering them. Remember moderation is key and the same rule applies when playing them music.
- Jazz and classical music are the music of choice for ultimate plant stimulation. Plants don't seem to like rock music, if rock is your jam you might want to enjoy it with your mates and buy your plants some more soothing tunes.
- Some sounds can make the stomata on plants stay open longer which means they take in more air and grow faster.
